They are suitable for treating sepsis, upper urinary tract and complicated urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, biliary tract infections, abdominal infections, pelvic infections, and skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible Enterobacteriaceae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter spp.
